I’ve Wanted To Do This
For A Very Long Time

It’s a new EP! Created for a very special reason…

***

When I do shows in my hometown of New York City, I play with my full band (and it’s quite a show ;)

On the road, though, it’s typically just me and the acoustic guitar.
As you’d imagine, it’s a much more intimate (and quieter) affair.

Both experiences are wonderful, and unique in their own ways.

My albums are much more representative of the large, full band sound, which I love dearly and always want to capture.

However, I’ve had many requests over the last few years to put out an acoustic-based recording that would reflect more of that side of what I do. And it’s something I’ve always loved the idea of.

Well, I’ve finally
gotten around to it.

I went back into the studio with my music-making partner producer Godfrey Diamond and we opened up some of the songs on my latest album Questions that I thought would lend themselves to a stripped-down treatment.

The idea was to really highlight all the beautiful acoustic sounds (hint: this includes vocals!:) that lay at the heart of the record.

There’s also a completely new song called “A Single Thing,” which was recorded by myself, Robbie “Seahag” Mangano, and Lautaro Burgos during the original Questions studio sessions, but never released until now.

The result is an EP I’m calling QUESTIONS: VOICES (again, the title will become obvious once you hear it), and as of right now, it is
ONLY AVAILABLE TO MY EMAIL LIST MEMBERS.

I’m giving you one of the tracks that I think really shines in this stripped-down format, and is markedly different from the much more massive original album version.

Here is “Task,” featuring studio legends Robin Clark and Gordon Grody on background vocals. The background arrangement was written by Gordon, and the end improvs are Robin. They speak for themselves.
